The tattoo process at Lethal Ink Tattoo
Every tattoo is custom-designed with care, precision, and respect for your vision. Whether it’s your first tattoo or your next masterpiece, here’s how we guide you from idea to ink.
1. Consultation & Planning
We begin with a one-on-one consultation—either in person or online—where we:
- Listen to your tattoo ideas, preferences, and references
- Answer your questions and explain the process
- Discuss placement, sizing, style, and budget
2. Body Assessment & Preparation
To ensure your design fits you perfectly, we:
- Photograph the area of your body to be tattooed
- Take measurements for accurate scale and placement
- Examine skin condition, checking for scars, stretch marks, sun damage, or existing tattoos
- Discuss any relevant health issues or sensitivities
3. Design & Creative Process
Once your body map is ready, your artist will:
- Select or sketch design elements based on your ideas
- Create a custom design using reference material or from scratch
- Edit and refine the artwork digitally
- Provide one round of revisions based on your feedback
- Finalize the design for stencil preparation
Note: If additional rounds of edits are required beyond the first revision, extra fees may apply depending on complexity and time.
4. Stencil Creation & Placement
After the final design is approved:
- We print and cut your stencil
- Apply the stencil to your skin using professional-grade products
- Adjust the placement as needed to fit your body shape and movement
⚠️ Designs may not appear exactly the same on skin as they do on paper or screen. Once stencils are placed, small adjustments are often necessary to fit your body’s curves and contours. Your artist will always walk you through this step.
5. Tattooing
Once the stencil is approved:
- We begin tattooing in a clean, sterile, and comfortable environment
- Breaks are offered as needed (especially for larger pieces)
- We use high-quality inks, machines, and hygiene practices
The studio manager will keep you informed of progress or questions throughout the session, checking your comfort and adjusting as needed.
6. Aftercare & Touch-Up
When your session is complete:
- We review aftercare instructions with you in detail
- Provide you with healing products or recommendations
- Let you know how long your healing time may take
- Offer one free touch-up (within 6 months) once the tattoo has fully healed
